Bedtime gratitude lists

Here’s a hack that’s backed by science, sometimes called “Three Good Things”. Done nightly for at least six weeks, it can re-wire our little ones’ brains and make them see things more positively. It works brilliantly for adults as well, so try it for yourself, too. It’s best done at the end of the day, before bed.

All you need to do is ask your child to name three things that happened today that they are grateful for, and encourage them to talk about each one for a while. the things can be big (“I won a race on sports day”) or small (“I ate a nice, juicy apple”). The important thing is they name at least three things and that they do it every night for a decent amount of time (6 weeks or more). Highly Recommended.
